mod_rewrite-Error

    I updated to 1.5 today and wanted to activate permalinks with mod_rewrite / .htaccess (for the first time).

    I use the admin-interface to generate the rules – no problem.
    But after sending any rule
    1. no css-file is used in the admin interface and links dont work anymore
    2. my frontend is dead.
    When going to http://flyingsparks.wwwfiles.de/ the following error-message occours: “You don’t have permission to access / on this server.”

    What is wrong?

    My WP-Installation is placed in a subdirectory of wwwfiles.de and the subdomain redirects directly to it.
    So I dont see, why the mod_rewrite should not work as expected…
