The Bootstrap
Mobile Menu - Height Issue (7 posts)

    Hi there,
    I can't figure out to fix an issue with the mobile/tablet menu I found. When you view the theme on a mobile device, tablet or just shrink the browser window so the main nav changes to the mobile nav, and you hit the button to open the menu and you hit a menu item that contains children - when the sub menu opens the entire height of the menu does not expand to accommodate the new menu items. But if you completely close the menu clicking the main menu button again and then open it again, and hit a menu item that has children, the menu then expands to accommodate the new menu items. You can see this on the demo site for bootstrap. The site I'm working on is here: http://dev.alexandriahistorical.org/

    Any guidance would be appreciated!

    I'm having the same exact issue. Have you had any luck figuring this out?

    Would be best to start your own threads guys, even though you may be experiencing the same symptom.

    Same here.

    It looks like the Javascript is adding an inline height attribute to the .nav-collapse div that is not being removed when it should be.

    Its not an ideal solution, but I added this to my css and it cleared it up.

    .nav-collapse.in.collapse{
    height:auto !important;
    }
