Mobile Menu (2 posts)

Along the top of my site, which I am building in TwentyTwelve, I am using a basic menu with no dropdowns. In the sidebar I am using Jquery Accordian for a more detailed menu with subpages. This is looking terrible on mobile. I need some help here. I either need to be able to use a different menu (not "primary") for the top of mobile, so you can get to the subpages, (and it shouldn't have all that crazy vertical space), or else I need to scale everything down more so that the fonts are smaller and the site is more proportional on mobile.

Here is where I am developing at the moment.

Any ideas? Or other examples you can point me to where this theme looks more "normal" on mobile?

I deactivated the responsiveness by removing a line from header.php as specified here:

In my opinion, the responsiveness is way too buggy to be useful with Twenty Twelve.

Next problem is the mobile version still doesn't show the background image, which contains the logo.
