I’ve been trying to find out the same information. Not knowing much css doesn’t help either sadly.

If I understand your question correctly, you just need to login, go to your dashboard, click on appearance/menus
When you get here, you’ll see a tab item above the menu area for locations, click that tab, and if you’ve created menus, you can choose which menus show where.
To create a menu, just click “Create Menu” and then choose what you want to show 🙂

I have the similar problem with my website as well. When I view the sub menu on desktop, it shows really nice (or least that’s my opinion) but when I view it on mobile devices the color is hard to read on the background. I’m not sure how to change the background color on mobile version of the site. Please take a look on http://gcdental.ca from mobile devices and suggest.
Nobody seems to answer my post, either I’m asking really hard questions or really stupid questions.
