WPtouch Mobile Plugin
Mobile / Desktop switch not working (4 posts)

It looks like my last thread was deleted for some reason, so I'll try again.

I am using WP Super Cache with WP Touch Mobile.

Lately, I've noticed that the Mobile / Desktop version switcher is no longer working for visitors. I have configured WP Super Cache according to Brave New Code's instructions.

I have tried deleting all cache plugins and reinstalling WP Touch Mobile completely and neither method resolved the issue.

Have also tried other caching plugins like W3 Total Cache and configured the per Brave New Code's instructions and the issue remained.

    Please help.

And now people are landing on the mobile site from their desktops.

While it appears that the switch isn't functioning, what's actually happening is the caching plugin is serving the incorrect theme. You may configure your caching plugin not to cache mobile pages nor to serve cached pages when mobile devices are detected. To do so, enter the user agents found in the documentation link below to the "rejected user agents" areas in your caching plugin's settings. Remember to clear your plugin, browser, and device caches before retesting.

I currently have no caching plugins; they've all been uninstalled and deleted. The problem is still there.
