Mixing Two Custom Post Types In The Backend (3 posts)

Hey guys. I'm working on a social political website.
Right now I've got two custom post types, Government Officials and Election Results. What I am trying to do is create a drop down meta form on election results, that will allow the admin to select the correct government official for each election result. On the front end, I'd like the government officials name displayed and linking to their profile, or the post along with the election results information.

    Hello imtrevormrose

I use this plugin to do the exact functionality of what you are describing.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/posts-to-posts/

It will require you to set up the connections in your functions.php and display them out in your template php files, but the instructions are well documented:

    Thanks Simalam!
Yeah, I saw something about it yesterday and decided to give it a try. I've gotten it to include the agent names onto the election results screen. But, I've not achieved getting it to display with my election results. I'm still working on it.

    Thanks for your response!
