I am new to word press and need some help. I got the favicon to show up with no problem. However the words that should be displayed next to it are missing. You can see it at http://www.paperwingsonline.com
Would someone please be kind enough to tell me where and exactly how to put them in?

    Thank you.

The title is missing from the site. From checking your feed for your site, it looks like you've removed the title of your blog. You can either return the title at Dashboard -> Options or hardcode your theme's header.php to get it to show up.

Gotta admit that return your blog's title would probably be better as you're going to have problems with your rss feed since your blog's title is missing.

Thank you, I tried that but it still doesn't show up.

Also is there anyway to do that so that it doesn't show up over the header? The other gal that is working on this with me created the header, but when you put the title in via the dashboard it pushes the header down on the page.

In IE7 you are getting exactly what is in your code. The favicon, paper wings and an m-dash. In FF2 you are getting the favicon and your url.

BTW, your code does not validate and some of the errors are related to the favicon.

Ok, well I didn't write the code, haven't done anything with any of the code. All I did was copy and paste the favicon code from the WP site and add after the <head> tag and before the </head> tag.

I asked a question about how to get the right thing to show up and stated that I was new to WP so telling me that the code doesn't validate doesn't help me solve my issue.

Code not validating could very well be your issue. It affects how your page is seen in different browsers.

As I said, some of the validation errors concern your favicon. Sorry if it doesn't help you. Perhaps you should try chanting.

Perhaps you should try being a little more understanding of someone saying they are new to something and not suggest that they chant.
