   Hi
   I have just installed wordpress for the first time and set up. I have no visual editor showing. I have ticked the top box in users - Profiles -. No change. I have downloaded TINYMCE, version 3.0.1 and activated, but still no visual showing, and I have de activated the pop ups. Any suggestions?

   try the installation all over again - another database - in a different folder. sometimes it just saves time to do it this way

   I've with the same problem, but in my case I updated. Any other suggestion?

   I have completely reloaded WP and still have no editor bar. I have also downloaded another editor plugin to replace the missing one, Transfered it across, it is showing on my FTP software, but doesn't load into Plugins on the site. Anyone come across this before?

   Reloaded and sorted the above, plugin now live and activated.... but no sign of it on the write post screen. Please someone put me out of my misery......

   Hi..
   I have also just installed a new blog and the edit bar or dashboard bar (which ever name is right) is missing...when I attempt to activate Akismet is says I dont have enough autharity to enter.
   Can someone help please
