Missing some categories on admin post page

    When I go to add a post to my blog, there are some categories that don’t appear on the category list. They are all grandchild categories (I like to have things organized), and some of them do have posts in them.
    Is there a limit to the number of categories that can be listed in the list? Other grandchild categories are making themselves apparent, even ones that don’t contain any posts.

    Do the categories get displayed in the admin menu that lets you manage the Categories? If not, they might not have been added for some reason and you could add them again.

    Yes, they are listed in the Categories admin section.
    They list just fine in a blogging client as well, but not in the web-based post add.
