Missing plugins - can't upload new ones - help? (2 posts)

Recently I deleted my current theme from my ftp client (I did this accidentally thinking it was another theme) and when I tried to re-up the theme (an older, less modified version) absolutely nothing shows on my sites main page. No posts. Nothing but the header, etc.

So I switched to another theme I had and then noticed my admin panel looked... different.

All of a sudden, NONE of my plugins are there! They're still safe and sound in my ftp client, but in my admin panel? Nothing. I've tried to re-up some of my more necessary plugins (the one for my gallery, etc) and yet, even after upload them via FileZilla, nothing shows.

This is very frustrating. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Thanks so much.

I have this problem too. Version 2.9.2 wordpress version. It was fine after I updated for about two weeks then when I went to the site it was fine only after logging in as an admin and clicking on the plugins tab did I get a message that my plugins were missing their header information and they are now all gone.
