Missing Older Post Link

Hey I’m using a child theme of Twenty Eleven to implement the Showcase feature. I’m really new to PHP but I am familiar with some HTML basics. The showcase and everything else is working fine but the older post section at the bottom is missing.

This is my index.php file. I added the <?php posts_nav_link(); ?> after <?php endif; ?> and it did nothing.
