Missing microdata?

Help! I hired a web company to “help” me with my WP site. Promised to fix all the problems. Could not finish the job and I had to fire him. Now I have even more problems that I have no clue how to fix. Currently webmaster tools says I have these errors:
Error: Missing required field “updated”.
Error: Missing required hCard “author”.How do I go about fixing this? Any advice would be appreciated.
