Missing Menu Items (3 posts)

I've recently taken over the maintenance on a website that is powered by WordPress. I'm a novice WordPress user but a relatively experienced coder (except in PHP). The previous webtech had, apparently, disabled many of the items I expect to see on the Admin Menu. On the menu, I have Dashboard, Write, Manage, Links, & Profile. I am missing Presentation, Plugins , Users, Options and their entire sub-menu hierarchies. I have been unable to locate any post in this forum, or any other location, that can help me. Does anyone know how to restore these menu items?
    Thank you in Advance.

I'd highly recommend upgrading to WordPress 2.5.1.

I am having the exact same problem. All the submenus are missing from Dashboard.

I really could use some help!
