   hi. my site works fine in firefox and all images show up. however when i tried it in IE 5.5, all the images that were called in my css file didn't show. what seems to be the problem? im just a beginner and ive searched for similar problems and im stumped :(

   this is not gospel. i can barely stand up without getting dizzy.

   but after you have doublechecked your paths and permissions, try removing the quotes from the image location in your url("image.gif") and see if that helps.
