Missing icons

Hi, great plugin but seems not to work properly.
After placing social URLs it displays only labels, icons are missing.
I saw in the page source that every image under link is _unknown.jpg?

Hi there,
just tried it out myself, but seems to be working fine. Did you install the plugin manually by downloading it first and then uploading it via the WP Admin Panel or did you login to your WP site, search in the plugin directory and install it from there?
One other thing you may want to check- did you select Small/Medium/Large and not Custom Small/Medium/Large?
I have installed the plugin automatically in the WP installer.
Surely I selected Small/Medium/Large (not custom).
BTW, when selecting “Small” links disappear at all. That is really odd behavior. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the plugin?
Make sure you’re getting the right version… https://cloudup.com/cBEa04NpvDn
haha 😉
I’m sure I have the right version.
Tried to deactivate all other plugins – did not help.
What theme are you using? If you reset your theme back to TwentyFourteen and the plugin works, it may tell us if there’s a conflict that way.
I am having the same issue after going live with my site.
Here’s a hint to what the problem might be, although I don’t know how to resolve it myself…. maybe you can help Dan?
I have set my wordpress installation in a directory (called “wpress”), and set the home to be the root, following these instructions:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_DirectoryWhen I see the missing icons, I inspected them and it tries loading them from here:
http://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/social-media-icons-widget/icons/medium/pinterest.jpg instead of loading it from http://mydomain.com/wpress/wp-content/plugins/social-media-icons-widget/icons/medium/pinterest.jpg which is where they are located.any help in updating the PHP to fix this?
I have changed the default wp-content folder name too, so this seems to be the reason….
Interesting- I’ll take a look and see if I can replicate that. The URL path should be taking into account if WordPress is installed in a folder though.
Thanks guys!
I was able to replicate the issue and fix it. Version 14.05 should be available for upgrade now.
Thanks everyone for pointing out the error!
Yeeeeah!
Thanks!
