Missing from admin menu in 3.8 (8 posts)

Just checking to see if there are any known issues with 3.8?

Someone has just updated their site without checking first and their custom post types have disappeared from the admin menu. I'm just trying to work out what's causing it, or if anyone else has come across it?

Sorry, should have mentioned that - 0.8.2, which is the latest isn't it?

Could you go to the "Manage Post Types" menu item and click the "Get code" link for the post types that have missing menu listings. pastebin the results you see in those. I'm curious if it's something that isn't specifically related to 3.8, but more a recent issue with some of the settings that should have been fixed.

the "'show_in_menu' => false," part has me thinking that's the issue. Could you go and edit the post type and make sure that that dropdown is set to true. If not, select true and hit save/update. Hopefully that fixes this.

There you go! All I had to do was re-save, it was already set to true. Thanks for your help, it seems to be working fine now.

I just had the same issue, just had to go in to edit and re-save, without changing anything, and it appears again.
