  • Because the Facebook Like button requires usage of their JavaScript API which is something purposely avoided by the base Social Media Feather plugin for the purposes of speed.

The facebook Share function offered by the plugin is very similar to the Like anyway, so you don’t really need to have the Like as well.

However, if you really need it, you can get the Light Prompt addon that will display a prompt that loads JS dynamically as to avoid slowing down the site until the user decides to use the feature and that offers facebook like among other features.

I see well i have another question if you can help me:
I have a plugin that shows related posts “contextual related posts” my problem is that social media buttons appear before it, how can make it appear after?

Under Settings -> Social Media you can specify the “Share Buttons Position” to be “After”.

It is after the post but before the related posts, i wanted it after everything.

Well I’m afraid that depends on what you are using for related posts and how it’s loaded. The only way to control the order is to use the widgets and place them in the proper after-post-content area (assuming your theme provides one), or alternatively using custom code.
