I know there is a plugin fix for it, but I thought it was fixed way back in 2.9.1? I have just started a new blog, started on 3.1 and now that I am scheduling posts, none of them are making it on time. I have to have a plugin to scan every 5 minutes just to post them. But that invalidates my bit.ly shortener that I use for auto-tweeting my blog posts.
Is there any code I can put it? I know bluehost haven't blocked it, they just told me, and there is a section in the cPanel for Cron Jobs.
There are no known scheduling issues with WP 3.x. Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Esmi has the clues.
I dont think your host block the plugin, its a simple cron job and only runs if a page is loaded by users.
How are you creating the scheduled posts?
