I am in the process of creating a new wordpress site which will take the place of an html site. I’ve set it up with ‘wp-config’ and ‘.htaccess’, logged back on, have gone to the ‘network logon’ and created it there, only to have the site address show up as sharons.org.uk with a / and space for the new site address! This is not what I want as I have a domain already for the new site which I want to reuse. How then can I reconfigure it so that the new site can use its own domain name please?

    sharon.

Can you screenshot this error? I’m not sure I understand it correctly….

Sorry, I’m unable to do that as my network-admin has done some jiggery-pokery with DNS records, and the ‘Add New Site’ now shows ‘Site address [blank box for input] sharons.org.uk’. This is totally different from what it was showing before, but I’m happy with that.

    Thanks
    Sharon.
