Support » Fixing WordPress » Misaligned columns in dashboard/admin area

  • Two or three extra ‘postbox-container’ divs show up at the bottom of any admin screens with more than one column, and the columns are misaligned. A picture or two will probably describe it better than I could, so here’s a link to them: http://imgur.com/a/7M04q

I am running a network installation. The columns are only misaligned on the pages for network admin and the pages for the primary site. The rest of the sites’ pages look normal.

I’ve network deactivated all plugins–no change.

Changing the number of columns in the screen options has no effect.

I installed Adminimize today, so I thought that might be the culprit. But deactivating it did not change the problem. I thought that maybe it corrupted the table that stores the positions of boxes in the admin area, but I went into phpmyadmin and deleted rows containing metabox and it also did not solve the problem.

I even replaced my entire theme folder to a backup that didn’t have the problem, but it didn’t help.

I’m not sure what else to do!

    Thanks for reading. 🙂
