Minimum Level to Upload

    Does anyone know of a way to change the minimum level to upload so a freshly signed up user could use the “upload” function in the control panel? I believe the current ranking is 6 or higher. As an added bonus…any way of getting wordpress to only allow new users to upload files…but not post news? Thanks in advance

    Change the minimum level in the options.

    See…but a freshly signed up user would be ranked “0” not “1”…and the lowest setting in options is “1”…I gave up on it already…no worries
