Minimizing space issues on servers

    Hey all,
    I have a question about having a bigger blog. My blog is 6GB’s in storage right now, I think because I upload alot of images, is there a way to minimize that amount of space which may or may not be the images taking up all the space?. Do any of you use seperate servers to store all your posts images?.

    Also, would there be a way for me to migrate my current images stored on my hosting server to another server to take up less space?.
