OK, my WordPress 2.0 install started to create millions upon millions of connections to the MySQL database. This caused my host to suspend my site compleately in an attept to avoid the whole server park to go down.

What actually caused this what one file in the WordPress install. When I uploaded it to my server trough FTP it was deleted for a sohrt while. In these seconds before my FTP client managed to upload the new file after deleteing the old file, the database connection horror begun.

WordPress outh to have some kind of... I don't know! Something to avoid this from happening! I don't knoe exactly whitch file it is, but however it caused a whole lot of trouble!

...and it actually happened twice. So... There's something wriong here somewhere...

Millions... you sure about that ? ;)

    Who is your host ?
Did they give you real information - can you get some - or are they just babbling away saying little ?

Oh, I saw the accesslist and there where actually millions. But I didn't store the list... I'll ask them to resend it. Post it when I get it.

Please don't post it here !
Upload it to your webspace and just give us the link :)

The list contineues for several pages...

It was enough data to almost crash my host; Made2Own. I used almost all their capacity just with this data...

From this I cannot tell what file was being accessed. What did you upload?
