    Greetings:

I’m migrating my existing WP/BP/mySQL website from one host, where it works fine, to a new host. So far, I have installed WP on the new host, exported an .XML file from WP-Admin Tools on the old site, and I am presently importing this XML file using WP-Admin Tools on the new site. The .XML file is about 4 meg in size, and it’s till importing after about an hour. Is this unusual?

After the import, I understand that I need to ftp the plug-ins and the theme from the old site to the new one. Is there anything else I need to do to get an exact copy of my old website on my new host? Am I doing this properly? Any advice is welcome!

    Thanks, Airpilot
