   I must move a web site to a new hosting service. I have control only over the new site.

   So far I suspect:

   1- I must create a new WP installation in an empty folder that should have the same name as the WP folder on the old site so that all the links work

   So I will a- create the new WP installation on the new host server then b- copy the old WP folder structure from the old server to the new host into the newly created folder.

   So what all else am I oblivious about!

   Looks like exactly what I am looking for. I hope it is not written to a level over my head... I didn't set up wordpress or any other php or sql or any of that stuff.. never have.. this will be my 1st time!

   Thanks! I will be printing that out and reading it over tonight!
