Migrating to new host, can't log in

    I’m moving a blog site to a new host. I’d like to make sure the blog is up and running correctly and make some changes/upgrades before pointing the DNS to the new host. Unfortunately, when I try to log in at the temporary URL provided (http://tempurl.com/wp-admin/) I get redirected to the existing blog’s admin login.

    How do I log in to the site at the temporary URL?

    When you set WP up on the new host, did you enter the temporary url or your main domain name? If you entered the main domain url, then you have to change it to the temporary one in order to get to the new site, since you haven’t changed your nameservers yet.

    There are a number of ways to change the url without access to the Dashboard:
