   Is there any way to migrate form a Live Journal (Unpaid) account to WordPress?

   If unpaid users can export their entries in the xml format, then yes, you can migrate. After you login at LJ, try to go to http://www.livejournal.com/export.bml , and try to export the entries for a month in xml format. If you are able to do that, then its fine, and you can migrate. From the Lj faq, it seems possible for a free user.
