   We have designed a site in FarCry that is 75% finished. It has been a rough ride and we are considering WordPress as a better and potentially less expensive option.

   The site main elements will be:
   1/ Social Networking
   2/ Image handling - many images from events. Need to filter images by event names and show using image gallery tool for manual or slideshow viewing.
   3/ eCommerce

   We are looking for feedback on the feasibility of this approach. Thanks in advance for any help.

   #1 can be handled by BuddyPress which I THINK also has a gallery plugin for #2, but I'm not 100% sure.

   #3 - There are a LOT of eCommerce plugins out there for you :)
