I recently migrated hosts within GoDaddy, and after a brief snafu where they lost all of my archives, the site is up and running again, but the NextGen Galleries aren’t working.

The galleries, images, and settings are all the same in the back-end, but in the front end I’m getting [Not a valid template] errors for the following:
    [nggtags album=chaya]
    [nggallery id=1]

Here are the pages you can view it on:
    http://tobylotak.com/gallery/
http://tobylotak.com/cast/ (click any of the characters, a drop down bio should appear and at the bottom of that SHOULD be a tag-gallery with their name as the tag.)

The plugin is still in the Plugins folder in my FTP.

    Can anyone help?

@thirdpotato – Have you tried using the ATP to insert those same displays?

Although the nggallery shortcode you are using should work, at the moment I cannot say why it does not; but, the nggtags gallery is probably not recognizing the album=chaya parameter and may require simply changing it to the appropriate album ID number.

Both shortcode structures you are using are based in NextGEN Legacy code and although most of that functionality was translated into the current NextGEN Gallery the tags related shortcode was not completely compatible in a few areas.

Hi, I’m not quite sure what you mean by ATP.
I’m not sure why it’s happening either. Does it have to do with the fact that i recently migrated hosts? Is there some file or something that might not have transferred over? I moved things only from the WP-Content folder and my database. Is ther emaybe a file not stored in WP-Content that didnt move?

Do you have an example of how I can use the tags shortcode more appropriately? It was working all fine before the migration x.x

    Ah ATP: Attach to Post
Yes, I’ve tried the ATP thing, and it still brings up the same error: Not a Valid Template. I’m wondering if there’s a template file that got left behind in the merger?

@thirdpotato – That could be possible … look at the setting under Gallery > Gallery Settings and ensure the template exists (blank is the default); same thing to do in every ATP instance that you are seeing this issue with, just check under the Customization panel settings.
