So I’ve migrated my wordpress blog to another server using FTP.

When I go to my homepage – http://www.wotyougot.com – it’s blank and when I go to /wp-admin all the posts have been removed.

Where has all my content gone?!

What do I have to do to bring back all my posts?

And looking at my wp-admin dashboard all the incoming links from posts over the last few years are still on there. Is it somewhere obvious that I’ve gone wrong?

And my old plugins are there too. It’s just the content seems to be missing. Help please.

    [No bumping, thank you.]

Thanks Esmi. I’ve review that page and I’ve done it correctly according to that.

However when I go to my homepage no content is there and I get the below message…

“Welcome to your new 123-reg website! If you’ve uploaded your site but are still getting this welcome page try doing a SHIFT+Reload or a CTL+F5 – this will clear the cache. Good luck with your new website! You can delete this page or change its content. “

I’ve done th whole CTL+F5 etc and nothing!

    Any thoughts?

If there is an index.html file in your root domain folder, try removing it.

I’ve removed it and now the home page is absolutely blank. Where to now ?!

I still see the 123-reg placeholder page.

Anyway, all the content is in the database. Did you move that too?

Oh gosh I didn’t move the database. Is there any way of retrieving the database?

    Ask your previous hosts.

Ok thanks. Will do. Annoying they’re not contactable until Monday now.
