   I know it is a quick task to enter the customisations/settings from scratch,
   but I have to move some sites a lot - testing different servers...
   What is the best practice to migrate BigContact to another machine w/o loosing all settings. Where does BigContact save its settings?

   you can dump the DB tables for the plugin and run the queries in your new DB.
