   I want to migrate one blog i have in a multisite installation to its own single installation.
   I would prefer not using the export/import feature in wordpress, it has given me some trouble with some categories not showing/changing their IDs. Would be great to do it by exporting the database files, but I just don´t know how to convert the multisite data into single-site.
   I hope i´m being clear about what i´m trying to accomplish. Is it possible?

   I think the easiest way: you must use export/import tool then change the category ID manually from database table.
