    Here is a link to the theme I'm working from:
    http://320press.com/wpbs/

    My site is still local for the time being but I CANNOT get meteor slides to work here.

    At best, the height of meteor slides will push down the rest of the page but no pagination or slides.

    I've tried shortcode in a post, hard code in the template, using the widgets, rooting through this support forum and trying code that's worked others. I'm wondering if this is a Javascript issue? I'm so confused.

    This slider is so nice and I wanna use it so BAD. If someone could take a look, I would be ever grateful.

    I've also tried deleting these from my functions.php

    wp_deregister_script('jquery'); // initiate the function
      wp_register_script('jquery', get_template_directory_uri().'/library/js/libs/jquery-1.7.1.min.js', false, '1.7.1');

    Switch to another theme. No theme should ever de-register core jQuery.

    Got a good, responsive, fluid boilerplate theme you would recommend?

    For future reference to anyone wanting to use meteor slides with wp-bootstrap. use responsive instead.

    That Bootstrap theme has caused problems with other users before, this post explains how to fix it.

    If you specifically want to use a Bootstrap theme I'd recommend BootstrapWP, but I agree with esmi that Responsive is a better choice.
