Meta Title tags got hacked - I use All in One SEO Pack (10 posts)

I tried to share a page of my WordPress built website only to see a hacker somehow got in and changed my meta title to sell prescriptions. I checked the All in One SEO pack and everything looks normal...the hack didn't appear in my source code. Where should I look to get this stripped? It's on every page of my site.

The site is http://www.expressmie.com if you want to look in the code.

    Thanks in advance!

  3. What does this have to do with All in One SEO Pack?

    Hello Michael,

I experienced a hack that seems to be related to All in One SEO Pack.

There are spam links in the page source related to tramadol. The links are inside tags related to the SEO All in One plugin. See page source below. I have removed the plugin but the code is still there. Any suggestions on how to deal with this so I can use the plugin (switch to pro version?) would be much appreciated.

All in one likely wasn't hacked. Are you on the latest version of WordPress?

Its NOT All in One SEO. I'm having the same issue on a site. The contact page is getting SEO'd in Google search as a Pharmaceutical ad for Tramadol.

Does anyone know anything about this? I'm actually thinking of trying out All in One SEO so get rid of the META there now. Maybe over write it?

    any one?

the rest of the site is fine. It only seems to be targeting the contact page. very very odd.

do a google search for this: http://iclothingco.com/contact/ it shows description; "Tramadol Online No Prescription | Contact"

Only in Google. not the same in Yahoo search.

has any one seen anything like this before?

    Hi technofunk,

I'm not seeing that in the search results at all. Can you show a screenshot?

    Thanks Michael. Here's a screen capture I've uploaded;

My mistake its not in the description but the title.

According to Google's cache, that used to be the title.

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:pqT2h4440JYJ:iclothingco.com/contact/+site:http://iclothingco.com/contact/&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com

Once Google crawls that page again and reindexes it, it will update in the search results.
