   Is there a way to add meta description tags to the main page of a WordPress blog? I've added a meta description to all 376 of my blog posts using the WordPress SEO plug in, but I can't find any way to add a meta description to my site URL, which is the home page for the blog.

   The blog URL is http;//www.rjonwine.com

   which wordpress seo plugin?

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/

   I use this one, had no problem setting that up for my homepage
