   I am having problems with my meta descriptions not showing up on certain pages.

   It appears to be caused by a plugin over riding the main meta description, and I know you don't support plugins. But wondered if you would know a way i could fix it manually.

   your description is being added twice

   probably once by a plugin and once by your theme maybe? Or by 2 different plugins?

   You need to pick one and stick with it. First, you need to pin down where the two descriptions are coming from

   I personally use Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin for all of that

   One description is coming from SEO Ultimate, the other is coming from Post Page Associator. Post Page Associator is over riding the description I want to have.

   Problem is I need it to pull certain posts onto certain pages, but it also pulls the meta description of the posts as well.

   Any alternative plugins?
