Meta Description does not appear when posting URL on Facebook or Google

    When placing a post/page’s URL on Facebook or Google +; NO meta description appears instead shows up “Administrator.”
    Using SEO by Yoast plugin.
    I will really appreciate any solution.

    So when you link your homepage onto Facebook or Google+ does it show up as one of your posts instead of a set description? That’s the problem I’m having as well.

    Same – I get no meta description when posting in Facebook. Instead, I get the text of the page underneath the title. The meta description is ignored.
