• I finished to create my blog, with a theme, and I wanted to publish…

The thing is that I had the brilliant idea to change the wordpress URL and Site URL, and remove the /wp from the end…
    from : http://ignaciomullor.com/wp
    to: http://ignaciomullor.com

great! now anything works… so I didn’t panic, and searched information:

I found different ways to fix the problem. using wp-config.php file adding 2 lines of code… but nothing… didn’t work.

Then I went to the PHPmyadmin and searched for the url and site lines… and for my surprise, they were correct, http://ignaciomullor.com/wp the previous adress… but the site still doesn’t work…

what can I do?! thanks in advance!

well, from start I want it to be working again, I don’t care where.
If is, on the root adress better, of course!… but if it’s on the /WP then I will try to moveit in a safe way to the root…

    thanks!

you want to move the website from /wp to the root domain?

    yes.

this is rather difficult, what you need is to go to tools in the dashboard, and click export. Export everything into a file. Download wordpress on the main domain, then import the theme, and go to tools, import, select file, and select that file that you exported from the other website.

ops! fixed, I used the phpmyadmin method, and now worked… seems there is some problem with my hosting provider, because i have acces to two different hosts for the same domain,.. and its messed up…

Thanks! I will follow your advice to move from /wp to the root directory.
