I'm currently testing eshop, (test mode).
I have a seller and a buyer account in paypal's sandbox.
I do see messages generated from paypal's end...(Test emails in the sandbox page). But I get nothing from eshop. Is it because I am in test mode?
When buying a downloadable item, I also read that after a transaction, paypal can be slow enough so that it doesn't redirect me to the page where I can see the link to the downloads page.
It was said that "But [I would] receive instructions via the email that eShop sends out anyway."
There's no email to be found. Help?
Thanks!

I forgot to mention, I have no problem receiving WordPress generated messages. So I'm guessing it must be problem from eshop's end...(settings or something)
A common mis-conception is that emails from eShop will be picked up by the sandbox email addresses, they won’t. You actually have to create real email addresses that match those set up at Paypal. So if Paypal gives you seller_123456_biz@example.com then you need to be able to receive email at that address.

Thanks for the reply.
I already did what you mentioned that.
When paypal gave me ***_******_biz@hotmail.com, I created an account on hotmail using the same name. That didn't work.
I wouldn't use hotmail myself.

I'll try gmail tomorrow then.
I'll report back.
I'd be wary about using third parties like that for these emails, they are more likely to get filtered than through your own domain.

So you're saying that I would have to create local emails...such as
***_******_biz@myDomain.com?
Is this the preferred method for Test mode or is this the preferred method for both Live and Test mode.
It's the email address that Paypal creates, so you have to match it - I just wouldn't use third parties, as you don't know what filtering they have in place.

How do you match them if not by using third parties?
I use my domain, then whatever daft email address Paypal creates in its sandbox I recreate and forward to my normal email address.

I really don't know what to do anymore. Would you explain step by step how to set up everything.
My website runs on my machine. I have these email from the sandbox, nicola_1297107674_biz@hotmail.com and nicola_1297107646_per@hotmail.com.
Merchant Getaways is set at nicola_1297107674_biz@hotmail.com.
Now what?
(Note that the preconfigured test accounts created in the sandbox forces my to use @hotmail.com).
so if I email either of those email addresses you will get the email?
Can you email me directly, and I'll send you a small plugin that might help. (my email address is on my profile page)
