    Hello,

I use the latest WP Version with announceme.

I found a problem with the "X" button - it doesn't work. No announcements will dissapear after a left mouse-click on the "X" button.

I don't know if it is because of Worpress, other plugins or theme. I use the suffusion theme. Maybe there is already an used script included...
    ...look at http://www.feuerwehr-neutal.at.

    Please for help.

    regards
    Andyt

    Hi,

looks like there is some problem with the jQuery scripts.
I'm sorry but I am on holiday at the moment and so I can not access the code. I'll be back in 7 days and then i will fix the bug

    Thank you
    Berni

i was able to fix this on my wp install.

i was getting the error in firebug that said $(document).ready is not a function.

    I followed the instructions here
    http://codeimpossible.com/2010/01/13/solving-document-ready-is-not-a-function-and-other-problems/

I added the bodyguard code in the annouceme.js file and it is working fine now.

I have the same problem and haven't been able to resolve it. The link provided by [vonshavingcream] does not work either. Anyone has a solution?

Still for me the same problem. The URL provided by [vonshavingcream] didn't work for me. Maybe I didn't unterstand it? However I disabled the plugin and use other process...

Do you know any similar plugin that I can use?

I use the plugin "Calendar" (at the moment: Ver. 1.3.1). There it is possible to get a widget with the coming events. This is used instead of the announce.

You are able to found it on the above website - at the moment there is only one coming event.

Thanks I have found other useful plugins as well. There are actually quite a few options.
