Hello - on http://www.cyclewerkz.com - when a member sends a message to another member, it says, message sent x hours, x minutes ago. The time is off, 5 hours off to be exact, I can't find anywhere where to correct this problem.
The only place that I have been able to find something that was close to where you sent the time is in the dashboard, in the Settings tab, and then General tab - I have it set currently to UTC-5 - I can't seem to get it to work.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Thank you again for your time and assistance!

It may have to do with your server time, not WP time
seems like if your timezone is set to UTC -5
and your sent time is off by 5 hours, then possibly your server time is set to UTC

I had originally picked Chicago as the city in our time zone - the problem was there at that point - I changed the time zone to try and sort this out, unfortutely it didn't work - I just checked to find out what the server time is set at. Hopefully will see something there that will help, but at this point no luck. Any other ideas?

I just got a note back from the host - it states:
The server is set to 1:47 PM Central
[root@gator1037 ~]# date
Thu Sep 16 13:47:00 CDT 2010
Still no idea what to do ... lol :)

I got the response from the host - it is as follows:
Hello,
I was able to see the issue you're facing when first sending a message where it says the message was sent 5 hours ago. However, when viewing the messages after sending, the correct time is shown. The issue when first attempting to send a message seems to be a bug in the plugin you're using. What is the name of the plugin? You may want to contact the developers to see if this is a known issue.

Timestamp issues are fixed in the upcoming 1.2.6 release of BuddyPress.
