Hi everyone, hopefully i have this post in the right place.
Im new to WordPress & Buddypress it is amazing and very powerful ..
but i need help, i have very limited knowledge on web programming and such.
What i am trying to do is merge the WordPress (Responsive theme in featured) with the functionality of Buddypress default template.
basically i just want a home page just like the the responsive theme on wordpress instead of the one Buddypress has as default.

@mdavenpo You mean http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/responsive?
What you can do is activate the Responsive Theme then install/activate the BP Template Pack plugin and go through Appearance > BP Compatibility process to make the layout of the BP template files align with the layout of the Responsive theme.
