Menus not working with twentyten child theme

    I started a WordPress child theme linked to the twentyten theme (no customizations yet) and noticed the menu does not seem to work properly.

    If I switch to the twentyten theme, I see just the menu items I added; when I switch to the my twentyten theme, I don’t see my menu but rather all the pages are listed.

    Is there something I need to do in my child functions.php to keep the menu working or is this a problem with the parent twentyten theme?

    I’ve got the same problem here… I just decided to work properly with the new theme I’m making but this is a very annoying problem… Is there a workaround?

    Ok ok, I just needed 10 more minutes to figure it out… Once you selected your child theme, go back to the Menus configuration and choose your Menu in the Theme Locations panel. That’s it.
