Menus freezing wordpress-Can't do anything

I posted this yesterday but no one answered. Can someone pls help me resolve this :
everytime i click on menus it completely freezes. it is the only thing i click and i can’t even scroll down. when i try to click the dialogue box “this page has become unresponsive” comes up with that sad face on it 🙁 I am just figuring how to do my site and i need to add menus but can’t help pls!!!
