I'm currently using wordpress.org and dashboard looked fine last week, but this week there are no menus or plugins displaying in the dashboard. In fact the only thing that displays in the dashboard is wordpress blog updates and news. I can't make any changes, I can't add posts. I can't disable any plug-ins. I'm at a total loss. Not sure what to do. New to all of this so need very detailed help. I doing all of this on a macbook pro. I can even email a screen shot.

    Hi granaussie.

Could it be a newly installed plugin that is causing this problem?

If you think so, follow these instructions: http://whydomy.com/2012/11/30/how-to-disable-all-wordpress-plugins-through-the-database-fix-the-admin-white-screen-error/

That will disable all plugins, then you may reactivate the ones that work fine.

    Hope this can help you.
