Menu with non-clickable section titles and spacing between menu sections (1 post)

Hi. I'm trying to create a menu like this:

    TEXTS
    shorts
    scripts
    published

    IMAGES
    people
    places
    stories
    misc

TEXTS and IMAGES are the sections and they should not be clickable. The menu items (shorts, scripts, people, etc.) are clickable and can be defined by anything that works: posts, categories, tags, pages... I've tinkered with WordPress's menu and so far no luck, everything I put on a menu is clickable and responds to mouse over events, even if it doesn't have a link.
Also, I would like to be able to set the spacing between sections through CSS styling. Perhaps this can be done with two menus instead of one, but I've looked through the forums and the web and found nothing that worked. Can anyone please give me a hint? Thanks!
