Menu items amount limited?

Hi,

I just spent a lot of time adding a bunch of subitems (categories) to my main menu on http://wonderfulwanderings.com. However, when I saved the menu

1. the ‘primary navigation’ and ‘mobile navigation’ boxes that were checked at the bottom were suddenly unchecked
2. a bunch of main menu items that were already there disappeared, which makes me think that maybe there’s a maximum amount of items that you can add to a menu?
This would be a problem as the submenus of one of my menu items are the countries I’ve been to and those will keep on growing…
