Menu item in admin bar restricted to admin (8 posts)

    Hi

    I have a problem for none admin users they got 2 menu items in admin bar which is restricted to admin roles. They can't access to Theme Options and Theme Extensions which is correct but how can I get ride of the 2 menu items for none admin users?

    Twentyeleven is the theme I'm using

    I can't replicate this using Twenty Eleven. Try:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Ok I will test this later on as the only issue is that non admin user sees 2 menu option in dropdown and if the choose them they got the message that they have no priviligies to them. So no big deal.

    A simple solution for hiding these 2 items from the admin bar is using a plugin like Hide Admin Menu. This plugin can help you hide any item in the admin bar based on user role simply by checking some checkboxes.
