I am getting this error in the area where the wp-admin menu should be:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in D:\inetpub\breathingfire\wp-admin\menu-header.php on line 8
And the rest of the admin defaults to the comments moderation page on login. This happened on a fresh install of 2.3.3 on a Windows shared server. Can't access any of the admin pages, only this page with the error.
Any help is appreciated.
I'd try to upload a fresh copy of the wp-admin folder.
On long term I'd consider very, very seriously to get a real hosting: i.e. not Win.

I found the problem. I was using an FTP program to upload the files (Filezilla) and for some reason it wasn't doing the job despite looking like it did.
Maybe I had a setting or two that was off. But I tried another program (Dreamweaver CS3) and things are working just fine now.
Moral of the story: The files didn't upload correctly.
