    Hi!

Quick question for you WP pros.

I created a new page for my WP site and wanted the new page to be a available as a dropdown under a different page. For example, I have a Media page (with corresponding Menu link at the top of page). I wanted to have a separate page, "Blogs," be under Media (which would make Media the parent page).

I moved Blogs to be under Media (in appearance --> menus), then I updated my page. The Dropdown menu works (success!), but all the main content on each page is in front of the menu, which appears to be hidden behind the content.

I'm inheriting this WP site from a friend who wanted me to help out. I know how to make websites from the ground up, and I've made my own before -- albeit a very simplistic one -- so if you know a simple solution through the actual HTML or CSS I can try to implement that. I'm just unfamiliar with how the WP editor would go about this.

    Thanks in advance.

No the simple answer is.. just go and click for menus from appearance. Then create new menu.. then add all the categories you want to add. Then this is important.. You have to drag the categories ( which you want to show as drop down ) below and little right side to the main categories that's parent category. Then save it. Your menu will definitely work..

hey blogvkp, thanks for the reply.

to clarify a bit, i've already done this step you mentioned -- blogs is under and to the right of media on the page you mentioned.

when i test the website out, the dropdown menu only shows a little bit of itself -- the portion of the dropdown menu that is outside the actual menu bar gets hidden.
